This isn’t the first time actress DAISY EDGAR JONES has found herself tasked with bringing a beloved literary character to life on screen.

She came to international fame for her depiction of Marianne in the adaptation of Sally Rooney’s acclaimed novel Normal People. And now Daisy is at it again, embodying Delia Owen’s independently minded  Kya, a young woman who is forced to raise herself in the dangerous marshlands of North Carolina, in the film adaptation of Where the Crawdads Sing
