Frank Seravalli on The Flames Gearing Up to Make Some Moves

On hour 2 of the Big Show, Matt and Peter kick off the hour with a brief conversation on Andrew Mangiapane. He has had a difficult season scoring wise coupled with the fact that he has taken some really poor penalties this season as well, the guys discuss whether or not it's time to start worrying about him. Later, Matt and Peter react to a podcast clip that was making the rounds on social media, Jack Eichel spoke on how he signed with Vegas and apparently it came down to Vegas and Calgary that were the 2 teams in the running in that trade race.

(14:17) To wrap the hour, Frank Seravalli joins the program to give us the latest around the NHL and what he's hearing on the Calgary Flames. The guys start the interview on the Avalanche as Devon Toews called out his teammates amid their struggles, we ask Frank if some moves will be in their future. Later, we ask Frank about the direction of the Flames. Frank tells us that he thinks that the Flames are gearing up to make some moves and sell off some of their UFA's to continue the youth movement we have seen this season. Frank also comments on the Sens' coaching search and who they might look to hire if Martin isn't their coach of the future. All this and more with during our last hit with Frank before the Holidays!
