On hour 2 of the Big Show, George and Matt kick off the hour with Nick Kypreos! We start the conversation with Nick centered around the hit that sent Chris Tanev to the Flames locker room last night. Nick and the guys have a discussion on how the NHL wants to see hits like this gone but they can't dilute the game to a point where physicality leaves the game. The guys discuss how that hit was just a unfortunate hockey play. Later the guys get Nick's thoughts on the surging Oilers and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Nick gives his take on what the future holds for John Tavares as a Maple Leaf as he needs a new deal soon, what the Leafs need to add come deadline day and more!

(22:56) To wrap the hour, Eric Francis joins the show to continue the discussion around the Flames. Eric gives his thoughts on how the Flames were impacted when Chris Tanev went to the locker room. The guys discuss how Connor Zary has been the story of the year for the Calgary Flames and that he looked really good on that top line with Lindholm and Sharangovich. The guys discuss the young guys some more as Martin Pospisil has been showing signs of struggling the last couple of weeks as the points have dropped off.
