On hour 2 of the Big Show, George and Matt react to a piece of news that Elliotte Friedman broke on HNIC. Apparently the Flames were close to pulling the trigger on a trade that would've sent Nikita Zadorov and Chris Tanev to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The guys discuss what they think that possible package could have been and if Craig Conroy made the right move shipping him off to Vancouver.
(14:24) To wrap the hour, Shi Davidi joins us live from Nashville for the MLB winter meetings. George, Matt and Shi discuss how the Blue Jays have become one of the finalists to land Shohei Ohtani. Now there are reports that the Jays are also trying to make a package to land Juan Soto as well. Shi explains how the Jays could persuade Ohtani to sign with Toronto and what kind of packages they could send to San Diego to land Soto.
