Would you pay $6,500 to get your baby to sleep? Because apparently… that’s an option. 😂
This week, Dani and Jordan debate whether they’re desperate enough to hire a three-day baby
sleep trainer — and somehow that turns into a much bigger conversation about all the things
parents are told they need to be doing for their kids.
Plus, Jordan officially becomes THAT dad at 4-year-old soccer, Dani survives her first workout
back, and a missing credit card sparks a marriage argument.
Then they get into the internet debate around Forrest Frank’s viral shirtless photo and whether
there’s a double standard when it comes to modesty for men and women.
Later, things get a little deeper as Dani and Jordan unpack cessationism vs. continuationism,
spiritual gifts, speaking in tongues, healing, modern-day prophets and discernment. Dani shares
how growing up in a charismatic church shaped the way she approaches faith today —
including one question she still wrestles with: Is it the Holy Spirit… or is it the music?
And because no De-Influenced episode is complete without a rabbit hole, Jordan found data on
where single people should actually live if they want to get married… and apparently your ZIP
code might matter more than you think.
Basically: sleep-deprived parents, soccer dads, internet debates, spiritual gifts and dating
statistics. A very normal week over here.
