S4 | Episode 32: Am I Even Supposed to Be Here?

We brought in a guest. She brought matcha. We suddenly went deep. This is That Sounds Holy.
This week, Issa and Vanya are joined by Pou — worship leader, fellow Feast servant, and founder of Nakama Macha PH (nakama = companionship/fellowship, and yes the drinks are amazing) — to answer a question that hit all of us in the chest:
"Was there a period where you felt intense unworthiness that made you stop serving — and how do you go back from that?"
None of us had a perfect answer. All of us had a story.
In this episode:
- Pou opens up about being adopted at 4 months old and how that became the root of her deepest ministry insecurities
- That moment when you're leading worship and you're literally crying, asking God "Why am I even here?"
- How the enemy is specific — he doesn't just say you're unworthy, he points at your relationships, your skills, your character
- The difference between stopping fully vs. showing up at bare minimum (and why both are real)
- What it means to anchor yourself in God's love when hesitation hits hardest
- "I'm unworthy — but my God who is worthy says I should be here. So what He says goes."
This conversation got so real it became a two-parter. Part 1 is here. Watch out for Part 2.
