As a boy growing up in Penguin, Al Nicholson dreamt of a career as a greenkeeper and carpenter. His hopes were dashed though as he developed a remarkable talent in broadcasting and journalism, and after an excellent stint at the ABC, Al now calls the footy and cricket for Channel 7 and Triple M.
