Vorig jaar vond begin oktober de eerste editie plaats van het festival Orange Jazz Days. Drie dagen lang stond Tivoli-Vredenburg in Utrecht in het teken van de beste Nederlandse jazz en aanverwante stijlen. Hoogtepunt was de compositie-opdracht aan trompettist/componist Eric Vloeimans. De première van deze opdracht is integraal te horen in deze aflevering. injazz is een initiatief van Buma Cultuur.
