The Dashka Stone – Is It a Three-Dimensional Stone Map?

Is it a three-dimensional map created long before our time?

Some believe that the Dashka Stone may be a remnant of an unknown group that once lived in the Ural region and worked with knowledge that left no other traces behind. Others see the relief as a possible map of a landscape that no longer exists, perhaps from a time before major climate changes. There are also theories that the stone may be a ritual tablet, created to depict the structure of the world rather than geographical locations. Some interpret the intersecting lines as a system of symbols from a lost tradition in which maps and cosmology were the same thing. It continues to raise questions because it has no known history, yet still looks like something a culture needed for a reason that no one can trace anymore.
