Brewers Extra Innings host Bob Brainerd joins Wisconsin’s Afternoon News to celebrate Milwaukee’s historic return to the World Series for the first time since 1982. Brainerd shares unforgettable memories of working as an usher at County Stadium during the 1982 postseason, including the electric atmosphere when the Brewers clinched the American League pennant. Plus, why this year’s emotional NLCS sweep of the Dodgers brings back memories of 44 years ago, how Pat Murphy’s managerial decisions have fueled Milwaukee’s success and whether a week off could impact the team’s momentum. Brainerd also breaks down potential World Series opponents Cleveland and Tampa Bay as the Crew looks to finish what the 1982 team started.
